MISSION STATEMENT:
To demonstrate and communicate God’s love and goodness to hurting people through
writing, teaching, speaking and mentoring.
Claudia N. Tynes is an author, freelance writer, columnist, and entrepreneur doing
business as Write 4U, a Christian-based venture at http://claudiatynes.com . She answered God’s call to ministry in 1994 as a writer, speaker, and teacher after
serving 25 years of dedicated service in the Federal Government.
She is the author of two books, From Journal Into Print (A Journey to Freedom From Within), Nuggets of Gold (a book of inspirational poetry), and over 175+ published credits online and in print publications. Claudia served on the steering committee for the Sandy Cove Christian Writers’ Conference (www.sandycovewriters.com). She wrote a bi-monthly column, Nuggets for Personal Journaling, for The Spirit Led Writer (www.spiritledwriter.com), and
publishes a bi-monthly newsletter for writers,The Writer's Touch(www.publishedauthors.net/claudiantynes/news.html. Claudia has served as an online instructor for workshops, and participated in both the on-line conference and book club for Shades Online Magazine (www.sormag.blogspot.com). She served as a former mentor for online ministry, Mentoring Moms (www.emphasisonmoms.com).
Claudia and her family are covenant partners with Victory Christian Ministries

Claudia received an Associate of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies from the Logos

Q. What is the purpose of Christian writing?
A. From my POV as an author, freelance writer, columnist and poet, the purpose of Christian writing is to share the good news of the Gospel...the goodness and love of Jesus and His finished work on the cross... to a loss and dying world through whatever writing style or genre He has entrusted to me.
Q. As a reader what do you look for from an author?
A. When I am reading a nonfiction/fiction book or article, I look for information that will empower, challenge, and encourage me to go the extra mile or stretch my limitations to move from my current level and make another step towards my maximum potential. For fiction, I read for entertainment, and I'm looking for lessons that convey messages for spiritual and practical application too.
Q. As an author what do you feel is your responsibility to God?
A. I feel that my responsibility to God is to be obedient to His call to write the messages He has placed in my heart. I feel thant I am to write those messages even when they are unpopular and go against current publishing trends. God is the trendsetter, and He is the ultimate publisher. If I am obedient to write as He directs; it’s His responsibility for publishing it (in His perfect timing).
Q. What do you feel is your responsibility to the reading audience?
A. I feel my responsibility is to provide quality products (books, articles, newsletters, etc.), to my audience which demonstrate a spirit of excellence and resonate the glory of Almighty God. My responsibility is to point my readers to Jesus and not self. Jesus' words are, "If I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me."
