Ms. Chamberlain read her poetry at the Coffee Oasis on December
13... and there is also an upcoming poetry read (Love Poetry to
the Ultimate) at the Amy Burnett Gallery in Bremerton on the release
of her next two books. Date undetermined at this time.
"Meditations for the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament"--imprimatur
by the Archbishop of Seattle--are being sold at the SCOPE auction at
Our Lady Star of the Sea School, in Bremerton, on February 13, 2010.
Soon in publication will be a new book of catechetical poetry suited
(according to the Archbishop of Seattle) for both those going
through the process of starting their journey of faith, and those
well into it. It is called Run Straight TO Greatest Mystery.
Illustrated by noted Seattle watercolorist, Patrick White, it
contains doctrinally-correct poetry based on the questions inquirers
to the faith bring to classes in the Rite of Christian Initiation of
Adults. This book will be in full-color, containing artwork of the
beautiful St. James Cathedral in Seattle, Washington, but also half
of the artwork was painted during studies in Jerusalem. Helen
Oesterle, M.Div. Director of Faith Formation at St. James Cathedral
said after reading the book-in-progress, "I think it is wonderful
that such beautiful poetry can be made out of this material!."
This book is to be submitted for imprimatur.
Also upcoming and sent to the publishers are the books:
Missioned in Abiding LOVE, which is dedicated to The Most
Reverend Alexander J. Brunett, the Archbishop of Seattle, and is a
journal of poetry written over a period of a year and half. The
other book is A Yet More Amazing LOVE, dedicated to The
Very Reverend Michael G. Ryan, and is a journey from wellness to the
gate of death and back to health in poetry (a real voyage)... both
of these books have also been submitted for imprimatur.
Please continue to see my Amazon.com author's blog site for updated
poetry submissions biweekly or so.
