Title: Wait, Beloved, for Darkness's Gift by Letha C. Chamberlain

Poems of joyfulness from one having once experienced the agony of darkness and despair.  Bright Resurrection, promised us by Christ, is alive and well in these hymns and poems that will blaze the trails of hope in your heart—RIGHT ON PLANET EARTH, where heaven starts!

I have a wish: that this tome facilitate a “happening.”  But each person’s journey is so special that no person’s light must ever extinguish another’s sacred spark… so if this poetry is intrusive, it must be put away for another day, when it may be seen in another perspective.

In three parts, this book is good for many types of reading experiences…

The first part contains the entire Psalmody of the New Jerusalem translation of the Holy Bible in haiku format (all 150 Psalms).  This makes the Psalms more possible to memorize fairly easily.  Because the Psalms help us learn to cope spiritually with all emotions, turning them over to God, these should be very instructive and good for us.

The second part has fifty-seven brief meditations on “The Occasions of Your Life.”  These are the celebrations, the crises, and the ordinary events in the lives of ordinary folk which deepen our walks with God on an everyday basis.

The third and last part is love poetry to God, the Great Lover.  It also contains scripturally-based poetry commenting on everyday life and love (with the emphasis on coping with darkness and afflictions).
